Hi everyone,

Sorry for not posting anything in a few days now. I’m not digital dead yet, but almost. Just been too busy and tired lately. I hope all of you had a great NYE2011!

I started to work this week and that’s making me tired every time I get home. Think I’m not used to early in the mornings yet. I will also start to work out soon which is going to keep me more busy than I’m right now.

By the way, have you seen Pamela Anderson’s naked campaign which has been stopped at several airports in the United States? The campaign is created by PETA. All the pictures shows a nearly naked Pamela who, like  schematic drawings of cattle have hams, thighs and ribs marked on their bodies. The critics claim that the ad, which promotes the consumption of vegetarian food, can harm children because of Pamela’s naked skin. Now, criticism has spread beyond U.S. borders. Hong Kong’s airport, a hub for flights throughout the world, has also banned the advertisement. How sick isn’t that? I think the pictures of her are pretty nice. Omg folks, we are living in the 21st century not the 20th!

Good Luck Bear - Care Bears

Good Luck Bear - Care Bears

Change your profile picture to a cartoon character from your childhood and invite your friends to do the same! Until Monday (December 06, 2010) there should be no human faces on facebook, but an invasion of memories. This is a campaign to stop and raise the awareness of violence against children.

I love the Care Bears since I was a child! Therefore, I’m using a picture of the Good Luck Bear, one of character the Classic Care Bears for this campaign. Good Luck Bear is loaded with luck and he loves to share it with anyone who can use a little more good fortune. You’ll almost always find this bear with a big smile on his face. Even the symbol on his tummy is lucky – a four-leaf clover!

In real life, one of the campaign against child abuse which really got my attention is a very realistic provocative campaign called “Invisible”, made by The Australian Childhood Foundation. What they did was placing child sized mannequins in high traffic locations around Melbourne and pasted a poster over the top of the mannequins so only the feet and legs could be seen. On the poster there was a message “Neglected Children are made to feel invisible“.

In France, the scorpion represents the threat of AIDS.

It’s World Aids Day 2010 today, what have you been doing for supporting? To be honest, I did almost nothing. I just added a picture badge to my profile picture on Facebook to show my support for ‘Fight HIV/Aids’.

I think I was daydreaming about finding a medical treatment against Aids/HIV and imagined how rich and famous I’d become. As usual, my dreams never come true. I could have saved many lives but God never let me to do that! He probably doesn’t want me to get more famous than him. How sad…

One more thing, famous celebrities like Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Alicia Keys, Usher, Jay Sean, Jennifer Hudson and many more are officially digital dead! That means that they won’t be on twitter, facebook or myspace anymore until you have safe their life by showing your support. To millions people who are affected be HIV/Aids these celebrities have sacrify their digital life to save real lives. If you want to show your support watch the YouTube provided below and you’ll know what to do.
